The fundraising campaign is an initiative of the long-distance runner, Mr Joel Melanie to help Ms Sally buy a prosthetic arm.
The HSI Life Manager, Ms Michelle Lafortune handed over the donation to Mr Melanie and Ms Sally in a small ceremony at the HSI Life office recently.
Ms Lafortune thanked Mr Melanie for his continued efforts to make a difference in the lives of various people in the society through his “Run for a good cause” project.
On her part, Ms Sally thanked HSI and Mr Melanie for their contribution and support, which she said will contribute positively towards her cause.
