H Savy Insurance (HSI) has donated 100,000 rupees towards Team Seychelles in the upcoming Indian Ocean Island Games.
The handover ceremony was held on Monday 01st July 2019 at the National Sports Council (NSC) offices, Roche Caiman.
It was the Chairman of the National Sports Council board, Mr Eddie Micock who accepted the donation on behalf of NSC from the Manager of Motor/Non Motor at HSI, Mrs Murline Lebon.
This was in the presence of the Chief Executive Officer of the National Sports Council, Mr Jean Larue and several NSC and HSI representatives.
“The Indian Ocean Island Games is one of the few events that can bring the people together in support of our local athletes and it is an immense pleasure for HSI to be part of this great event,” said Mrs Lebon.
She also wished the Seychelles delegation every success in the upcoming games.
On his part, the Chairman of the board of the National Sports Council, Mr Eddie Micock, thanked HSI for its generous contribution, which will go towards the preparation and participation of Team Seychelles in the 10th Indian Ocean Games from the 19th-28th July.
