Wednesday 20th December was a very special day for the children residing at Foyer de La Providence, as they waited eagerly for their early Christmas gifts from H Savy Insurance.
The donation also comprised of other daily necessities that the children’s home would require throughout the year.
Sister Sylvette, the sister in charge of the home, accepted the donation on behalf of the children from HSI’s HR Manager, Mrs Marie-Agnes Brioche.
“Thank you HSI for always remembering us, the children always look forward to the wonderful gifts each year”, said Sister Sylvette when accepting the donation.
HSI adopted Foyer de La Providence 17 years ago, and every year since it has honoured the tradition of its annual Christmas donation to the children.
“Foyer de la Providence occupies a special place in the HSI family as the first cause we supported under our Corporate Social Responsibility Program in 2006,” said the General Manager of HSI, Mr Lambert Woodcock.
As a long-standing partner of the home, HSI has pledged to continue helping the home and improving the lives of the children in their care.
