HSI Donates Medical Equipment

The ultrasound static Sonopuls machine will be used during physical therapy, to reduce nerve pain and inflammation during treatments at the Physiotherapy Unit.

HSI made the donation as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program, in partnership with the Friends of North East Point Hospital and Hospice Association.

The equipment was accepted by Mrs Nadia Valentin, Principal Therapist of Rehabilitation Services in the presence of CEO of Health Care Agency, Dr Danny Louange and Deputy CEO, Mrs Kathleen Cecile amongst other invited guest and staff of the department.

The donation worth more than SCR 100,000 consists of another Sonopuls machine which is expected to be acquired early next year.
