
Francis Lebon
Mr. Lebon started his journey at the Central Bank in 2002 in the Public Debt Department and upon leaving in 2010 was the Head of the Domestic Debt Department. Mr. Lebon moved to the newly created Fair-Trading Commission and served 12 years in total – 5 years as the Chief Executive Officer and 2 years as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Lebon was appointed as the Principal Secretary for Trade in 2022 and served 2 years before moving to the Private Sector at the end of his contract. Mr. Lebon is currently the Deputy Managing Director at H. Savy Insurance Co Ltd.
Mr. Lebon holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of West Scotland, a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics for Competition Law from Kings College and a BSc in Economics, Finance and Banking from University of Portsmouth UK. During his journey, Mr. Lebon has undertaken other short professional courses including Executive Leadership Program at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government- UAE
Mr. Lebon is currently serving as a member on STC and AML/CFT -appeal) boards.
Mr. Lebon has a very profound interest for combat sports and football.
